THIS is the moment when The Bill’s Sgt. June Ackland is hit by a police car as it chases a villain.

June (Trudie Goodwin) is left fighting for her life tonight, below, after PC Tony Stamp (Graham Cole) slams into her.

And fearing June will die, her boyfriend DC Jim Carver (Mark Wingett) asks her to marry him as she lies in hospital.
