ACTRESS Rae Baker has been axed from The Bill – just days before viewers see her in this lesbian clinch with a fellow cop.

On Wednesday, Rae — who plays fiery bisexual DC Juliet Becker — will have a steamy snog with DS Debbie McAllister, played by Natalie Roles, in a sure-fire ratings winner.

The two comfort each other and start kissing when Juliet confesses to a lesbian affair and Debbie reveals she was raped by Supt Tom Chandler when she was pregnant.

Sexy Rae made jaws drop when she first appeared on the ITV show astride a gleaming motorbike.

But despite her sizzling storyline Bill bosses have said, “Let’s be having you” to Rae and the 28-year-old will leave in September after just a few months on the show.

She is said to be furious, but executive producer Paul Marquess said she was being written out in a fantastic exit storyline which was “irresistible”.

Of her bisexual role, Rae said: “I’ve kissed so many women on the show now that I don’t care.

“Womens’ lips are really soft so it’s nicer kissing women than men.” The Bill may have given their stunning bisexual character the push, but there is no shortage of lady love on our screens.

In recent years hundreds of TV plots have involved girl-on-girl action in a bid to pull in viewers.

In fact, The Bill’s snog on Wednesday will be the THIRD time viewers have been served up a lesbian embrace in just TWO WEEKS.
