CATHY BRADFORD TO RETURN TO THE BILL (21/3/04)

The News of the World reports this today on an interview with Connie Hyde:

Connie Hyde's on-screen exploits as crazed cop Cathy Bradford in The Bill left her so worn out we sent her on a relaxing girlie break to Andorra for her first skiing trip.

"It was exhausting playing Cathy" says Connie, 34. "But it's a dream role for an actress and was great fun".

Married to chartered surveyor Finlo, 36, Connie is set for a dramatic return as the psycho WPC for a few more nail biting episodes.

Polly Page (Lisa Geoghan) visits her in a secure unit to try and lay her own demons to rest. Crazy Cathy believes she is on an undercover operation, and taunts civilian Polly for not being senior enough to discuss it with. Cathy seems to have struck a nerve and it looks like Polly will leave Sun Hill forever…

Next on Connie's schedule, having suffered a tragic miscarriage last year, she is anxious to try again for a child. "Having a family is very important to me," she admits.
