A HANDSOME new copper is set to make an arresting entrance on The Bill — and make Sun Hill’s WPCs swoon.

PC Dan Casper, played by Chris Jarvis, 24, joins the ITV1 drama in the New Year. Dan is introduced to WPCs Amber and Leela — and soon the sparks are flying.

Chris, who is also in the Phantom of The Opera movie, said: “It’s going great so far, I’m loving the experience.”

THREE PERISH IN SUN HILL EXPLOSION

There's panic on the streets of Sun Hill next year when a huge explosion destroys the front of Britain's favourite fictional police station.

In an episode of The Bill, to be seen on February 23, fans will see undercover journalist PC Andrea Dunbar (Natalie J Robb), SRO Marilyn Chambers (Vickie Gates), and DC Ken Drummond (EastEnders veteran Russell Floyd) killed by the blast.

Naturally the carnage leaves fellow officers devastated and they become determined to find those responsible for the atrocities.
