The Bill's Sun Hill police station blew up today (Tuesday) - it's part of a dramatic storyline that we won't get to see until next February.

We were on set at Shepperton studios for the action - the storyline will see three of the show's main characters killed off after a van smashes into the police station, causing a huge fireball.

Although we can't tell you who dies (it's DC Ken Drummond, PC Andrea Dunbar & SRO Marilyn Chambers), Alex Walkinshaw, who plays Sgt. Dale Smith, told us it's been a dream day for him:

"Today we've blown up Sun Hill - we've had vans driving straight through the front office, smashing up pillars, counters, glass."

"There's wood everywhere - there's rubble, there's dust."

"I jump out the way - it's like being in the 'A-Team'! It is the 'A-Team' for me when I was ten - it was fantastic....when will BA come out?!"
