BLAST KILLS BILL (8/2/05)

Rogue cop Gabriel Kent walks from the wreckage of The Bill's Sun Hill after a huge explosion.

Gabriel (Todd Carty) leaves colleagues for dead after unhinged PCSO Colin Fairfax (Tim Steed) blows up the station by ramming it in a van full of petrol cans on the ITV1 show.

The inferno, to be screened on February 23 and 24, will kill at least three stars. DC Ken Drummond (Russell Floyd) dies in the van and PC Andrea Dunbar (Natalie Robb) perishes after Gabriel abandons her to save himself.

Receptionist Marilyn Chambers (Vickie Gates) dies in hospital as Reg Hollis (Jeff Stewart) proposes to her.

Smithy (Alex Walkinshaw) is badly hurt and viewers are left wondering if he lives.
