Bright and ambitious (she graduated from Cambridge University), as well as being very attractive, PC Rosie Fox caused many heads at the station to turn upon her arrival at Sun Hill - particularly amongst the male officers. Confident, organised, and very up-front, it was clear to all that Rosie was a high-flyer and was destined to great things. However, her short stint at Sun Hill - which lasted only a couple of weeks - was a very unhappy one. Following persistent sexual harassment, culminating in near rape by obsessed PC Eddie Santini on a locker room floor, Rosie requested a transfer. She returned to Sun Hill in July 1999, as a sergeant in the Murder Squad, making it her job to see that Santini got his comeuppance. She eventually did, tying him to the death of his ex-lover Jessica Orton.
Rosie's life was cut tragically short when she was murdered as a key witness in a case involving a big crime lord in April 2000, shortly before giving evidence in the murder trial of Eddie Santini.
