BILL FAVOURITE FACES CANCER (16/2/05)

The Bill's Inspector Gina Gold will find out she's got cervical cancer in a powerful storyline to be screened in March. Viewers will follow the stalwart as she journeys from diagnosis to radiotherapy and chemo. Actress Roberta Taylor who plays Gina reveals, "Our scriptwriters have done their homework to ensure that we handle the story accurately and responsibly." Gina's illness will herald the return of Jonathan Fox but viewers will have to wait to see if he'll be offering more than just emotional support.
