AS one old face leaves
Sun Hill, a new one clocks in - and she's a lot prettier than Matthew Boyden.
Bigoted Sergeant Boyden is being killed off after 12 years in The Bill.
A dizzy new blonde bombshell -
called HONEY Harman - will soon be joining the nick.
And blonde PC Polly Page is coming back to the series.
Boyden - played by Tony O'Callaghan - leaves the ITV1 show in April.
Sources claim the divorced copper will meet his end in "shocking and
dramatic" fashion after his wild-child daughter returns on the scene.
An insider said: "Boyden will die as part of a top-secret storyline which
will shock fans." (For
those of you who don't know already, Boyden is shot dead by a drug-dealer who is
supplying his daughter Amy with cocaine - Ed)
Meanwhile, telly newcomer Kim
Tiddy is joining as blonde bombshell PC Honey Harman.
A Bill source revealed: "She's a real dizzy blonde who's accident prone.
One of her first mishaps is to help jump-start a getaway car - not realising
they are a bunch of robbers. She'll certainly add some spice to the show."
Polly Page (Lisa Geoghan) returns after six months "sick leave" but in
real life actor Lisa has been on maternity leave.
The ever-revolving door of Sun
Hill will see three other regulars leave later in the year. DC
Danny Glaze (Karl Collins), DC Mickey Webb (Chris Simmons) and PC
Des Taviner (Paul Usher) are all off to pastures new.
But EastEnders favourite Todd Carty joins soon as PC Gabriel Kent.
Comeback
And old favourite Sgt Bob Cryer (Eric Richard) will make a comeback to help niece Robbie (Moya Brady)- who mans the front desk - solve a crime.
