Today's Sun reports on some new actors joining the cast of The Bill.

They include Beth Cordingly, best known for her role in Family Affairs on Channel 5; Russell Floyd, who portrayed Michael Rose in EastEnders; Pal Arron who played Adam Osman in Casualty; Ciaran Griffiths who starred in Coronation Street as Dean Sykes; and Diane Parish (who has appeared in numerous dramas on television).

No details were given on the characters these actors are going to play.

There is also a rumour that Scott Neal (aka PC Luke Ashton) is coming back for a guest spot on the show.

An insider says "They are the new generation. The series also gets a new format with a continuing storyline." (see previous comment from the Executive Producer of TB)
