BILL
star James Lloyd has been axed - after bosses ran out of storylines for him.James - who plays PC Steve Hunter - will leave the ITV1 drama in April.
He joined the series in June 2004, following in the footsteps of his dad Kevin Lloyd, who played DC 'Tosh' Lines. Kevin died in 1998 after battling alcoholism.
Last
night, James, 25, said: "I've enjoyed every minute of my time at The
Bill and although I will be very sad to leave my friends here, I feel that
the time is right to move on after two fantastic years."Meanwhile, TV Biz can also reveal Nick Patrick, who plays SRO Julian "JT" Tavell, has also got the boot. He has already finished filming his final scenes.
