THIS is the moment married detective Neil Manson makes a move on undercover journalist PC Andrea Dunbar in ITV1’s The Bill.

Manson (Andrew Lancel) has been getting closer to Andrea (Natalie Robb) since last week’s bomb.

But she is responsible for Sun Hill leaks to the press — and he is putting his career on the line by romancing her.

 

NEW CHARACTERS

The official site reports that some new officers are joining Sun Hill in upcoming months; the first being DC Suzie Sim (Wendy Kweh), who will be on screen around September. Also joining is PC Roger Valentine (John Bowler) who starts filming this week. Both actors have appeared in the show before - Kweh as Mai Ann Wey in episodes # 101 and # 102, and earlier as Jung Tze, the mother of the young Chinese boy in the Lullaby episodes (1999). Bowler played the character John Woodland in # 058.

ROM THE BILL TO THE BIBLE

HUNKY Bill star Daniel MacPherson is leaving the ITV drama — to play Jesus.

Daniel, who has played PC Cameron Tait for the last 18 months, will star in The Mysteries at Canterbury Cathedral alongside Edward Woodward, who plays God.

Daniel, 24, will appear in the play throughout August before returning home to Sydney.
