SRO Julian Tavell   played by Nick Patrick

Station Receptionist Julian Tavell, better known as 'JT', teetered towards challenging authority and enjoyed a fight verbally, especially when he knew he was in the right. He was also a bit of a drama queen, but not to the point of being irritating. JT was a good worker and loved to party too; he interacted well with the public, able to communicate with people from all walks of life, and was popular about the station. A true organiser, he took every opportunity to get stuck in and rally the troops for nights out and events. He loved a good birthday party although was not so keen on his own. He’d been twenty five for the last four years and expected to continue to be so for the next four at least! 

He knew Sun Hill nick for its infamous reputation, and when he saw that it needed a new reception officer, he grabbed the opportunity with both hands. People warmed to him and told him their deepest secrets, which he was usually very good at keeping, within reason of course - nothing should stand in the way of genuinely fine gossip! The minute JT got behind the front desk it became the hub of the station as his love of life and people meant he got involved with everything.

JT eventually grew fed up with working and living in Britain, and left Sun Hill to live in Spain with his boyfriend.
