Sergeant Nikki Wright   played by Gillian Taylforth

Sgt. Nikki Wright joined Sun Hill after a spell at Barton Street. She was happily married to Doug (also a Sergeant in the job) and had two kids plus two step-children.

Nikki used to work in her mother’s hair salon where she got on great because she was such a good listener. She packed in the life of washing old ladies’ hair, and her first husband, for a life of excitement in the police service and her listening skills have served her well there too.

Nikki breezed through her working day and always left the minute her shift finished; not because she didn’t care – it’s just family was important to her too.

Following attending the scene of a fatal impalement, Nikki was forced to re-evaluate her position at Sun Hill and opted to take out time from the Force in order to spend time with her family.
